format keywords in Pay-per-Click (PPC) advertising. The tool will automatically add brackets and quotation wrappers to indicate exact and phrase matches respectively.
The tool will also add to the existing list variations of a particular word. This could be a misspelling or simply a variation of a word. For example, say you have a set of keywords which use the word: “dog”. Say you wanted to add to the list the same variations of keywords but with the term ‘hound’ instead of ‘dog’. By using the ‘misspelling’ tool it is possible to add to your existing list a new list that is exactly the same – only the word ‘dog’ is now replaced with ‘hound’
When you are satisfied with your keyword selection you can them add the Maximum Cost per Click (MPC) values. With the AdWords™ advertising program the maximum cost per click is the maximum amount you are prepared to pay per clickthrough for your advert. It is possible to set a different amount for every keyword.
The above tool is useful if you wish to add a maximum cost per click value (MPC) for a list of keywords. The minimum value is 0.05. This is not necessarily the amount you will pay as this is set to be less than the MPC of the advertiser higher than you in the list of adverts.
Create a list of keywords using the following techniques and resources:
1. Brainstorm
2. Visit https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal.
Use the tools to create [ ] and “” wrappers (to create exact and phrase matches in Adwords) and other variations in your search terms (including misspellings) and Maximum Cost per Click (MPC) values.
